OCC is a fifty (50) person waterfront engineering firm with offices in Trumbull, CT, Marshfield, MA, Gibbsboro, NJ and Charleston, SC. OCC's parent company, COWI A/S, is a leading international engineering firm headquartered in Denmark. COWI has over 340 dedicated marine, waterfront and coastal engineers on staff as well as over 6,000 engineers and scientists world-wide. OCC's sister company, Ben C. Gerwick, Inc. has offices in New Orleans, Houston, Oakland, CA and Seattle. Together both firms make up COWI USA. Another affiliated company located in Vancouver, Canada, Buckland & Taylor, Ltd, is a premier bridge design firm.
Founded in 1983, OCC has been servicing east coast clients from Maine to Florida, as well as clients in West Virginia, Texas, Louisiana, California and Hawaii. We have also provided services to international clients located in Canada, Aruba, Guam, Bahamas, Dubai, Ireland, American Samoa, Southwest Pacific Island of Tutuila, Oman, Guyana, and the Turks and Caicos. Of the fifty (50) full time employees company-wide, thirty-one (31) are engineers and fourteen (14) of those engineers are registered professional engineers. OCC employs a total of seventeen (17) engineer-divers, of which ten (10) are professional engineer divers.
