OCC has wind and wave numerical modeling software that is able to determine operational and extreme wind speeds, wave heights and directions, tidal motions, flow and storm surge set-ups acting at a project site.
Wind data, along with other environmental, recreational, cultural, physical and operational constraints are compiled in a GIS database in order to determine which offshore project layouts are recommended for development and which sites should be excluded from further consideration.
OCC is able to assimilate project specific data into larger publicly available data sets in order to provide project owners and developers with the information they need to move projects forward.
