OCC has a long track record of finding beneficial uses for clean dredged material. Beachfills are one type of project where sand dredged from an offshore location is beneficially used to provide recreation and shore protection benefits. 

Dredged material can be processed and amended to perform a variety of purposes such as concrete blocks, aggregate for highway projects, fill for redevelopment projects and the creation of top soil.
