Underwater review of a marine contractor's underwater repairs in New York Harbor on a long duration project (anticipated 3 to 5 years).

Responsibilities will include one or more of the following:

  • Perform underwater review of contractor's work as a diver;
  • Tend for an underwater inspector to monitor their position and safety; and/or
  • Take notes and prepare inspection reports on daily contractor progress.

Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil, Structural, Coastal, or Ocean Engineering.  Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification preferred, or the ability to obtain within one (1) year.  Course work in the design and analysis of steel, concrete and timber structures preferred.  Surface-supplied air diving experience/certification is required.
